About Danielle
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher qualified to teach the junior/intermediate and senior grade levels. While attending Brock University, I specialized in English and gained a teachable in literacy studies. I have experience tutoring students in literacy and mathematics from grade levels 1 to 12. All lessons are specifically designed to achieve Ontario curriculum expectations and the unique strengths and needs of all students.
Services Offered
I offer tutoring services in English for Grades 1 to 12 and Mathematics for Grades 1 to 10. New students will receive a diagnostic assessment (pre-test) to identify potential areas of growth, strengths, and next steps. From there, I will create an individual goals-based designed plan for the student to ensure success.
I am available to accommodate tutoring needs across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) both online and in-person.
Qualifications
- Ontario Certification of Teaching in the Junior to Senior Levels (Grade 4 to 12)
- Additional Qualification in Special Education
- Currently enrolled in an Additional Qualification for Primary/Junior students in order to further my learning on teaching Kindergarten to Grade 3.
Teaching Ideology
My teaching ideology is rooted in equity and inclusion. I believe that students of all abilities, diverse backgrounds and lived experiences deserve to be taught in a way that specifically considers their unique learning style and needs. I have worked with various students who require differential instruction and teaching styles such as Gifted students, and those who have ADHD, ASD and OCD.
